As Japan is the biggest consumer of Kpop, BTS and Blackpink record songs in Japanese and even Blackpink's Lisa and Jennie speak Japanese which is an essential part of training for Kpop idols. "Destiny: A Star is Reborn" therefore films powerful scenes in both Korea as well as Japan. Like his mentor and one of history's greatest filmmakers Satyajit Ray, Soho films on location without any AI or stock footage or green screen footage to take the viewer on an actual journey. The film also shoots a few scenes in Thailand out of respect for Lisa and in Canada to honor Soho's country of birth.
일본은 K팝 최대 소비국이기 때문에 방탄소년단은 일본어로 노래를 녹음하고, 블랙핑크의 리사와 제니 역시 일본어를 구사하는데, 이는 K팝 아이돌 훈련에 필수적인 부분입니다. 따라서 영화 "데스티니: 스타 이즈 리본"은 한국과 일본 양쪽에서 강렬한 장면들을 촬영했습니다. 그의 멘토이자 역사상 가장 위대한 영화감독 중 한 명인 사티야지트 레이처럼, 소호 감독은 인공지능이나 스톡 영상, 그린 스크린 등을 전혀 사용하지 않고 현지에서 촬영하여 관객을 마치 실제 여행을 하는 듯한 경험을 선사합니다. 또한 리사를 기리기 위해 태국에서, 그리고 소호 감독의 고향인 캐나다에서도 일부 장면을 촬영했습니다.
