Comeback K-pop Idol: Star Reborn

Destiny: A Star is Reborn is K-Pop's answer to A Star is Born meets Rocky. A former idol must overcome brain surgery, ageism, racism, alcoholism and a callous music and fashion industry to make comeback against all odds. Instead of suicide, he turns to the mythos of the 3 pillars of Asian civilization — Korea's most beloved icon King Sejong, Japan's greatest artist Hokusai (who inspired Van Gogh, Monet, Christian Dior, Michael Jackson's favorite composer Debussy and Degas —the most famous artist of dance) and Asia's most important philosopher and founder of Zen and Kung Fu Daruma to embody the mantra "Fall down 7 Times, Get up 8". His comeback against all odds in both the world's of Kpop as well as Couture can uniquely inspire and empower the world.

Fashion plays a key role in Kpop and Destiny gives a poignant look at the fashion industry as well as the inspiration behind a brand. It pays a respectful homage to the pioneers of fashion like Coco Chanel who revolutionized fashion after making a comeback against much adversity as well as Christian Dior who said he was most inspired by Japanese art especially of Hokusai. From Karl Lagerfeld and John Galliano to Virgil Abloh and Alexander McQueen —many fashion icons have been inspired by Japan and that inspiration also comes through in a unique way in Destiny: A Star is Reborn.
